LEADING COPPER NICKEL 90/10 & 70/30 PIPES, TUBES & CUNIFER BRAKE LINE COIL MANUFACTURER
Manufacturer, Exporter & Supplier of Copper-Nickel 90/10 & 70/30 Pipes, Tubes & CuNiFer Brake Line Coils
Seamless & welded Copper-Nickel 70/30 pipes and tubes (UNS C71500 / CW354H) manufactured to ASTM B466, B467, B111, ASME SB, EN, DIN, ISO, JIS, BS and Military/Marine standards for offshore, naval and high-velocity seawater applications.
Copper-Nickel 70/30, designated UNS C71500 (European equivalent CW354H / CuNi30Mn1Fe), is a higher-nickel copper-base alloy containing nominally 70% copper and 30% nickel. The increased nickel content delivers superior tensile strength, higher resistance to erosion-corrosion at high flow velocities, and improved resistance to impingement attack compared to CuNi 90/10 — making it the preferred choice for the most demanding seawater and marine service conditions.
Sunflex Metalloy manufactures Copper-Nickel 70/30 pipes & tubes in seamless and welded construction for offshore platform piping, naval and defence vessel systems, high-velocity seawater cooling lines, condenser tubing in critical service and desalination plant high-pressure sections.
Our Copper-Nickel 70/30 pipes/tubes are produced from continuously cast billets, hot-extruded and cold-drawn/pilgered to final size, followed by stress-relief or full annealing as specified. Each batch is subjected to chemical analysis, mechanical testing, hydrostatic pressure testing, eddy-current/ultrasonic testing and complete dimensional inspection.

CuNi 70/30 (UNS C71500) offers higher tensile strength and superior resistance to erosion-corrosion at higher seawater flow velocities, making it the preferred choice for critical, high-velocity or high-temperature seawater piping where 90/10 may not provide adequate service life.
Copper-Nickel 70/30 piping is generally suitable for seawater flow velocities up to approximately 4.5–5 m/s, higher than the typical 3.5–4 m/s limit for CuNi 90/10, subject to system design and project specification.
Yes, we manufacture CuNi 70/30 pipe to MIL-T-16420, NAVSEA T9074, DEF STAN and NORSOK requirements for naval and defence applications, with full documentation and third-party inspection support.
